Genomic signatures of opportunism and environmental adaptation in the closely related species Cladophialophora bantiana and Cladophialophora psammophila

We present a comparative genomic analysis of eight Cladophialophora bantiana genomes from clinical cases and two environmental strains − one C. bantiana isolate from sugarcane (CMRP3443) and a closely related saprobic species, C. psammophila (CBS 110553) − to explore genomic features linked to opportunistic infections.
