This copy of Ḥasan Ghaznawî’ṣ dîwân begins with a prose preface, which is entirely different from that in No. 931. It begins, on fol. 245b: اوصاف بزرگوارى و فضيلت سخنگذارئ او اظهر من الشمس است الخ. On fol. 248a margin, the date of Ḥasan’s death is correctly fixed in A.H. 565. Beginning of the dîwân itself, on fol. 249b, the same as in the preceding copies. No date. No. 609, ff. 245b-304, 2 coll., each ll. 13-15, and a third on the margin, ll. 24-28; Nasta’lîḳ; two illuminated frontispieces on ff. 245b and 249b; the first two pages both of preface and dîwân splendidly adorned; size, 9¾ in. by 5½ in.
