Austria: Hot rolled steel production 2009-2021

In 2021, Austria's hot rolled steel production amounted to approximately seven million metric tons, representing a 14 percent increase compared to the previous year. In the period of consideration, the production of such products mainly increased until 2017, when the highest production level was recorded at around 8 million metric tons. The manufacturing volume of hot rolled steel products decreased gradually in the following two years.
