Genomic characterization of nub[1] wing tissue

Profiled chromatin accessibility and gene expression in the wing imaginal discs of Drosophila melanogaster, in wild type and nub[1] animals. We demonstrate using RNA-seq that expression of both nub and pdm2 paralogs are reduced in the nub[1] condition, and that this allele contains a previously unannotated deletion within the intergenic region between of nub and pdm2 using ATAC-seq that corresponds to a wing enhancer element.
