Seasonal carbon and nitrogen isoscapes in the Southern Ocean@en

We produced carbon and nitrogen isoscapes across the entire Southern Ocean (>40°S) using surface particulate organic matter isotope data, collected over the past 50 years. We used Integrated Nested Laplace Approximation -based approaches to predict mean annual isoscapes and four seasonal isoscapes using a suite of environmental data as predictor variables.本研究基于过去50年采集的表层颗粒有机物同位素数据，构建了覆盖全南大洋（南纬40°以南）的碳、氮同位素景观（isoscapes）。本研究采用基于集成嵌套拉普拉斯近似（Integrated Nested Laplace Approximation，INLA）的方法，以一系列环境数据作为预测变量，预测得到年均同位素景观及四个季节的同位素景观。
