RV Investigator Voyage IN2015_E06 EM710 Multibeam Echosounder Data

This record describes multibeam echosounder data collected on RV Investigator voyage IN2015_E06, which consisted of three legs, 5-8 Oct 2015, 9-11 Oct 2015 and 12-16 Oct 2015, in and out of Hobart.
The Kongsberg EM122 multibeam echosounder was used to acquire seafloor bathymetry and backscatter information out to deep water 42-43 S.
Ping rate varied according to depth. Data are stored in *.all raw format at CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere. There are 47 files totaling 1.24 GB of raw data in this dataset.
24 sound velocity profiles were applied to this data during data acquisition.
Processed data are available in XYZ and GSF format. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the GSM data acquisition and processing report. Additional data products available on request.
