Zooplankton, phytoplankton, nutrients, and other data were collected
using bottles and nets from the SAMUDERA from 14 July 1976 to 26
July 1976 . Zooplankton data include taxonomic identifications, total
wet weights, and settled volumes. Phytoplankton data include settled
volumes. Nutrient data include concentrations of oxygen, phosphate,
nitrate, nitrite, silicate and chlorophyll a. Other data include
temperatures, salinities, and water depths. Data for accession 0000672
also exists in a publication held by the NOAA library:Institute of
Marine Research National Institute of Oceanology Indonesian Institute of
Sciences Oceanographic Cruise Report No. 20 Oceanographic Observations
in Indonesian and Adjacent Seas Jakarta, 1976.
Additional funding for digitizing historic data were provided by the Global Ocean Data Archaeology and Rescue (GODAR) project.
