Map Viewing Service (WMS) of the dataset: The Organising Authorities of Mobility in the Department of Bouches-du-Rhône

The former Urban Transport Organising Authority (AOTU) has become the Organising Authority of Mobility (AOM), since the adoption of the law New Territorial Organisation of the Republic (NOTRE) of 7 August 2015.

Its territorial jurisdiction corresponds to the scope of the intercommunity which exercises mobility competence. In the Bouches-du-Rhône department, it is the Métropole Aix-Marseille-Provence and the agglomeration communities of Arles-Crau-Montagnett and Terre de Provence that exercise this competence.

Some communities exercise this competence in a mandatory manner: metropolitan areas, urban and agglomeration communities, community communities. They may, depending on the wishes of their members, choose not to acquire that competence or exercise it in whole or in part.
