Patricia Bay Conductivity Temperature Depth Deployed 2012-08-12

The Sea-Bird SeaCAT SBE16plus 7128 was deployed on 2012-08-12 at Patricia Bay. Patricia Bay is located in the Saanich Inlet, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. This device is a Conductivity Temperature Depth. Conductivity Temperature Depth (CTD) is an instrument package that contains sensors for measuring the conductivity, temperature, and pressure of seawater. Salinity, sound velocity, depth and density are variables that can be derived from sensor measurements. CTDs can carry additional instruments and sensors such as oxygen sensors, turbidity sensors and fluorometers. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

海鸟（Sea-Bird）SeaCAT SBE16plus 7128型仪器于2012年8月12日在帕特里夏湾（Patricia Bay）完成部署。帕特里夏湾位于温哥华岛南端的萨尼奇湾（Saanich Inlet）内。该设备为温盐深（Conductivity Temperature Depth，CTD）测量仪，是一套集成了海水电导率、温度与压力传感器的仪器组件。盐度、声速、水深与海水密度均为可通过传感器实测数据推导得到的海洋环境变量。温盐深测量仪还可搭载额外的仪器与传感器，例如溶解氧传感器、浊度传感器及荧光计。本次部署将该仪器搭载于固定观测平台之上。此次采集的数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 2.0数字基础设施开放共享，且遵循既定标准流程完成了质量管控与衍生数据产品的生产。
