Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1986, Omnibus no. 06

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1986 comprises 20 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1986. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1986 omnibuses are: #The respondent's sex, age and marital status; size of the household, number of adults (persons aged 15 or more) and children, and age of the children; the respondent's position in the household; the respondent's education, occupational status, public or private employment and income; education, occupational status and public or private employment of the head of the household; gross household income; the housewife's occupational status; housing conditions and ownership of the dwelling as well as geographical location and degree of urbanization; which party the respondent voted for at the last general election; and which party the respondent would vote for at a general election on the day after the interview. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Attitude to the so-called Easter package which means a reduction of the balance of payments deficit; attitude to whether this 'package' is socially just; whether a Social Democratic government would have taken other economic actions with a different distribution of burdens; attitude to the abolition of the statutory one-day waiting period for sickness benefit; the Saturday TV programmes 'Lørdagskanalen' (Saturday Channel); assessment of the performance of the Government; and the number of sports programmes on TV at weekends
