Physical, wind wave spectra, and other data were collected from fixed platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, South Pacific Ocean, Coastal Waters of Western U.S., Great Lakes, North American Coastline-North, and North American Coastline-South from January 1, 2001 to January 31, 2001. Data were submitted by National Data Buoy Center. Data were collected using meteorological sensors, moored buoys, thermistors, and accelerometers.
