This table shows the supply and consumption of petroleum products in balance form. Petroleum products include the fuels LPG, engine petrol and diesel oil. The balance sheet includes both the products intended for processing or consumption in the Netherlands and those destined for transit.
The calculation of the offer is as follows: production plus import minus exports minus bunkers plus stock change. This is equal to the quantity of petroleum products consumed in the Netherlands during the same period. Consumption consists of both the consumption component and raw material for conversion into other oil products as well as the final consumption and other conversion component (consumption of oil products for conversion into other energy carriers such as electricity).
The initial and final stocks of petroleum products are also published.
