Thirty-eight-negative-kinase 1 (TNK1) is a major mediator of trauma induced intestinal injury and multi-organ failure

To check gene expression signatures in response to TNK1 expressionin intestine, we performed whole genome microarray on intestinal (ileum) epithelial cells purified from TNK1 expressing and not expressing mice Inducible TNK-knockin mice (Rosa26rtTA/+, Hprt Myc-Tnk1tg) were treated with doxycyline for 24h to induce TNK1 expression in the gut. TNK-knockin mice treated with the saline solution under the same experimental conditions served as control cohort.
