Career Structure of Technical College Graduates, 1969 and 1971

<P>Abstract copyright UK Data Service and data collection copyright owner.</P><br>The purpose of this study was to investigate whether a degree taken at a college of technology or a polytechnic was inferior to one taken at university in terms of employment opportunities. Attitude to: career choice; qualifications; promotion prospects.<br> Questions asked in second stage only:<br> Occupation(s): intention to remain; total number of jobs held since leaving college.
