Contains 3D printing files and experimental videos associated with Chapter 5 of the PhD thesis of Megan Delens, entitled “Multipolar Capillary Interactions: Self-Assembly and Manipulation”. Chain Elements: STL files of the individual floating elements used to assemble the capillary chains. Supplementary Movie S1: Straight-Biased Chain N=8 initial folding and robustness to perturbation: A N=8 straight-biased chain subjected to vertical vibration.The structure remains predominantly linear despite mechanical agitation, demonstrating the robustness of the straight encoding. Supplementary Movie S2: Fold-Biased Chain N=10: Initial folding and configuration exploration under Faraday waves: AnN=10 fold-biased chain exploring its folding landscape under chaotic Faraday waves.The chain transitions between metastable states and reaches configurations consistent with theoretical predictions.
