PPSIMV极地海冰运动矢量（1978-2006）

Daily sea ice motion vector dataset is calculated using data from AVHRR (Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer), SMMR (Scanning Multichannel Microwave Radiometer), SSM/I (Special Sensor Microwave/Imager), and IABP (International Arctic Buoy Programme) buoys. The composite daily gridded dataset derived from all remote sensing data has a time span from November 1978 to December 2006, with a spatial coverage of 48.4°N to 90°N and 53.2°S to 90°S. The averaged gridded fields include annual, monthly, weekly averages, as well as the overall mean of the entire time series. Both the daily data and averaged datasets are stored in 2-byte integer format, and are provided for both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres on a 25 km equal-area grid. Sea ice motion vector data from each remote sensing sensor is formatted as ASCII text.
