Flooding, GDP growth rate, and employee growth: City-level analysis.

This table reports the city-level OLS regression results of the effects of flooding on local employee growth and GDP growth. The sample has 3,299 city-year observations, including those cities with at least one listed firm during the period of 2003 to 2019. Dependent variables are employment growth rate and GDP growth rate, both of which are measured at the city level. Other variables are also measured at the city level. Variable definitions are in Table A1 in the S1 Appendix. Robust standard errors are clustered at the city level and reported in parentheses. *, ** and *** indicate the significance levels at the 10%, 5% and 1%, respectively.
