The maximum share of intermittent renewable energy (wind and PV without storage) that can be injected into island grids at any given moment is limited to 35 %.
Beyond this threshold, disconnections or limitations are possible in order to preserve the stability of the electrical system.
This dataset details the maximum number of hours of disconnection and limitation of photovoltaic installations per month.
As of 2019, a new indicator is integrated into the dataset:
the ENR rate interfaced by power electronics accepted.
