Sectorial distribution of climate finance for adaptation in Africa 2010-2019

Agricultural activities received roughly one-third of climate adaptation finance dedicated to Africa between 2010 and 2019. Water supply and sanitation followed as the second sector to receive most of the financial flow, with a 20 percent share of the total amount for adaptation actions addressing climate change on the continent.
