黄土-古土壤中的磁化率反映了季风气候变化引起的降水量的变化,从而反映了成土发育的强度。洛川剖面古土壤层(20-60cm)中的磁化率最强,约为100-130 SI;100-200 cm黄土层中的磁化率最低,约为60 SI;随后磁化率随剖面深度的增加而渐渐增强至100 SI,并在350 cm以下的土层中趋于稳定。总的来说,洛川剖面中古土壤层的磁化率值比其上覆黄土层和下伏黄土层的磁化率值高。洛川剖面的频率磁化率的变化趋势与磁化率的变化一致。相对洛川剖面,武功剖面中的磁化率及频率磁化率相对较高,说明低纬度地区高的降水量及温度条件下强的成土强度;并且在气候暖湿的全新世中期,黄土高原南缘的古土壤经历的成土发育更强。
Magnetic susceptibility in loess-paleosols reflects changes in precipitation caused by monsoon climate variations, thereby reflecting the intensity of pedogenic development. The Luochuan profile exhibits the highest magnetic susceptibility in the paleosol layer (20–60 cm), reaching approximately 100–130 SI; the magnetic susceptibility of the 100–200 cm loess layer is the lowest, at approximately 60 SI. Subsequently, magnetic susceptibility gradually increases to 100 SI with increasing profile depth, and stabilizes in the soil layers below 350 cm. Overall, the magnetic susceptibility values of the paleosol layer in the Luochuan profile are higher than those of its overlying and underlying loess layers. The variation trend of frequency-dependent magnetic susceptibility in the Luochuan profile is consistent with that of magnetic susceptibility. Compared with the Luochuan profile, the magnetic susceptibility and frequency-dependent magnetic susceptibility in the Wugong profile are relatively higher, indicating stronger pedogenic intensity under high precipitation and temperature conditions in low-latitude regions. Furthermore, during the warm and humid mid-Holocene, the paleosols in the southern margin of the Loess Plateau underwent more intense pedogenic development.
