Evaluation of high-level road construction projects in Austria.

The Federal Environment Agency was commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, the Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) to accompany the process of evaluating high-level road transport infrastructure. The present report includes an analysis of the evaluation scheme developed by BMK and ASFINAG with recommendations for the further development of the assessment criteria as well as a discussion of the tension between high-level road transport infrastructure and current environmental objectives (climate, biodiversity and land use). On the basis of selected construction projects, the technical basics are discussed and illustrated.联邦环境署受联邦气候保护、环境、能源、移动、创新与技术部（Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, the Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, 缩写BMK）委托，协助开展高等级公路交通基础设施的评估工作。本报告首先对由BMK与ASFINAG共同制定的评估方案进行分析，并针对评估准则的进一步完善提出建议；同时探讨了高等级公路交通基础设施与当前环境目标（气候、生物多样性、土地利用）之间的冲突与张力。在此基础上，本报告依托选定的建设项目，对相关技术基础展开阐释与说明。
