资源简介:
This dataset contains the results for the difference of the co-polar components of the scattering amplitude matrix (f_hv) resulting from the interaction of propagating L-band electromagnetic waves with the icy habits contained in the Atmospheric Radiative Transfer Simulation (ARTS) database. The results are generated using ADDA, accounting for full horizontal orientation of the habits and with the focus on the simulation of the Polarimetric Radio Occultation observables. For this, the necessary magnitude is the specific differential phase shift (Kdp), that can be derived form the f_hv through the particle size distribution. The data provided here can be used as input for a PRO forward operator that accounts for realistic ice particle shapes and it is consistent with the extinction and scattering parameters used to perform microwave radiative transfer simulations at common radiometer channels.
