We report transcriptional responses of mouse macrophages to Pam3CSK4 stimulation that are additionally stimulated with interferon gamma and various stimuli that induce the unfolded protein response. We identify key transcripts associated with restrictive and permissive states of host macrophages in terms of intracellular replication of Legionella pneumophila. Examination of RNA isolated from mouse bone marrow-derived macrophages stimulated with Pam3CSK4 (Invivogen) ± interferon gamma (ThermoFisher) ± 2-deoxyglucose (Abcam), geldanamycin (Sigma), brefeldin A (BD), dithiothreitol (Sigma), tunicamycin (Sigma), thapsigargin (Sigma), and ISRIB (Sigma) as indicated.
