Emission trends 1990-2016

In the report “Emissionstrends 1990-2016”, the Federal Environment Agency gives an overview of the anthropogenic, i.e. man-made, air pollutant emissions in Austria: — Dust — Total floating dust and particulate matter — Ozone precursors — Nitrogen oxides, volatile hydrocarbons without methane and carbon monoxide — acidifying and over-fertilising air pollutants — sulphur dioxide, ammonia and nitrogen oxides — heavy metals — cadmium, mercury and lead — Persistent organic pollutants trends and major polluters are analysed and current emission data are compared with mandatory environmental targets. The data are based on the results of the Austrian Air Pollutant Inventory, which is compiled annually by the Federal Environment Agency.
