资源简介:
HPV is responsible for approximately 90% of the infection-attributable cancer cases worldwide. This study identifies potential biomarkers for HPV to design drugs for its treatment. Microarray analysis of HPV-infected datasets subjected to enrichment analysis revealed HPV's impact on organic substance transport, T-cell activation, DNA binding, receptor–ligand activity, and cellular location at the plasma membrane's neurone projection, axon and cytoplasmic side. PPI and network analysis brought the Psmb6 gene as a prospective biomarker. During enrichment analysis, psmb6 screened against Drug Matrix DB showed few competent drugs among then beta-estradiol-3-benzoalte and alprazolam found to have a better binding affinity with psmb6 in docking through Autodock. Further elucidation of these two complexes exhibited less RMSD and substantial protein–ligand contacts in MD simulations performed by Desmond. Based on the results, psmb6 acts as a biomarker for HPV infection, and existing drugs beta-estradiol-3-benzoalte and alprazolam as potential candidates need to be designed for future research studies aimed at combating HPV infection.
