Transmission electron micrograph of a representative untreated swa2 mutant cell. SWA2 encodes the yeast homolog of auxilin, which is a co-chaperone that regulates clathrin assembly and disassembly. swa2 mutant cells exhibit a vacuolar fragmentation phenotype. (6,300X). An image of the same mutant following sertraline treatment is available as CIL 40435.
