To study the differentiation of Bifidobacterium longum-specific T cells, we stimulated neonatal or naive adult T cells with B. longum-pulsed monocytes and compared them to resting cells from the same donor. Overall design: Activated T cells from different human donors were isolated by fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) after 3-day co-culture with B. longum-pulsed monocytes and analysed by RNAseq.
