Determination of the mechanisms of X-ray nanopattering in TiO2

Based on the positive outcomes of our previous experiments carried out on the superconducting oxide Bi2SrCa2Cu2O8+δ (experiment MA-4100), and on the positive results of our recent experiments MA-3506 and MA-4361 performed on TiO2, we propose to investigate the mechanism of defect formation in this material in order to get a systematic control of the experimental parameters, as needed for fine tuning of the recently developed direct-write X-ray nano-patterning (XNP) technique.
