Long noncoding RNA sequencing of interaction between Zizania latifolia and Ustilago esculenta

The swollen culm gall formation in Zizania latifolia induced by Ustilago esculenta is largely temperature-dependent. The molecular mechanisms responsible for the temperature-dependent culm gall formation remain largely unknown. Therefore, we analysed the whole transcriptome of Z. latifolia infected and not infected with U. esculenta at optimal and high temperatures using high-throughput sequencing.
