资源简介:
This project aims to investigate the molecular responses of Arabidopsis thaliana to whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) infestation through transcriptomic analysis. By comparing the gene expression profiles of whitefly-treated and untreated Arabidopsis plants, we seek to uncover the key genes and pathways involved in the plant's defense mechanisms. Whiteflies are a significant pest in agriculture, and their feeding behavior induces stress responses in plants, triggering various biochemical and genetic changes. The study will utilize high-throughput RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) to identify differentially expressed genes and regulatory networks associated with plant defense, signaling, and adaptation. This research provides insights into how Arabidopsis reacts at the molecular level to whitefly stress and may contribute to the development of more resistant crops in the future.
