Permeability

In hydrogeology, the rock is classified in terms of its permeability. Information on permeability can be obtained via aquifer tests (pump tests, etc.) or laboratory tests (evaluation of screen grains) via certain mathematical methods. During hydrogeological mapping, data on permeability is systematically collected and stored in a file. The data base is very heterogeneous and in construction. A good database is available for the Münsterland area with its peripheral areas.
