Pool-seq of Experimentally Evolved P. aeruginosa PA14 Populations in LB

Experimental evolution was used to understand, and test the genetic requirements, of the rapid rise of LasR- lineages of P. aeruginosa in LB medium. Evolutions were seeded with either WT PA14, a cbrA mutant or a cbrB mutant, and on the 2nd and 3rd passages (on Days 4 and 6 of the evolutions, respectively) whole genomes were sequenced from the evolved pools to identify mutations that increased in proportion over the course of the evolution.
