State measuring network groundwater level

Quantitatively, the Land Groundwater Service has the task of continuously collecting, processing and providing data on groundwater levels and flooding of all nationally significant aquifers for government planning and monitoring activities and for the transfer to non-governmental bodies. For this purpose, the Bavarian Water Management Administration operates, among other things, the state measuring network groundwater level with currently over 600 measuring points. The data provide an overview of the location of measuring points of the groundwater level in Bavaria.
