Test particle simulation results for Chaotic Motion of Ions Driven by finite-amplitude Low-frequency Alfven Waves

This record contains the test particle simulation data for the paper "Chaotic Motion of Ions Driven by Finite-Amplitude Low-Frequency Alfvén Waves", which employs dynamics method to study ion stochastic heating caused by low-frequency Alfvén waves. All files can be loaded using the JLD2 package. lyapunov_bw_kx.jld2 contains the maximum Lyapunov exponent of the trajectory of a single particle under different parameters. isChaos_bw_from_lyapunov.jld2 contains the maximum Lyapunov exponent of particle trajectories under different wave amplitudes, including particles with different initial states. lyapunov_bw_kx_kz01.jld2, lyapunov_bw_kx_kz025.jld2 and lyapunov_bw_kx_kz05.jld2 contain the maximum Lyapunov exponent of particles with different initial states in two-dimensional parameter space (k_x, B_w), with k_z=0.1, 0.25, 0.5 respectively.
