Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains were grown in 2.5 percent (w/v) Bacto heart infusion broth (HI broth; BD Bioscience, USA) at 37 centigrade with shaking at 200 rpm. Bacetial cells were harvested at the mid-log phase gowth (OD600 value of about 1.4). Total RNA in WT were extracted. mRNA enrichment was performed using an Illumina/Ribo-ZeroTM rRNA Removal Kit (bacteria). Construction and sequencing of cDNA library was performed on an Illumina Hiseq platform.
