This map service displays the extents and designated names of the 1:63,360 and 1:250,000 scale USGS topographic maps for the State of Alaska. This feature layer includes online links to the USGS map download site. The Alaska topo maps were produced by USGS in the 1950s and 1960s, with limited newer updates in selected areas, primarily in urban areas such as Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau.
