Milwaukee Public Museum Bees Expedition 2

The Apidae- honey, cuckoo, digger, carpenter, orchid, and bumblee bees are a diverse and economically important group of bees, and are in decline across much of thier range. Transcribing the labels on these specimens will provide scientists and people all over the world with valuable data about modern and historical distributions of these species, as well as other ecological details like nectar and pollen plant associations.  This expedition also contain data from specimens of Bombus affinis, the rusty patched bumblee, which was added to the United State's Endangered Species list in January 2017. The total number of tasks for this dataset is: 500, number transcribed is 500 and number validated is 1. This data resource is harvested periodically into the main occurrence index.

蜜蜂科（Apidae）类群涵盖蜜蜂、杜鹃蜂、地蜂、木蜂、兰花蜂与熊蜂，是一类物种多样且经济价值显著的蜂类类群，其在全球多数分布区内的种群均呈下降态势。对这批标本的标签开展转录工作，可为全球科研人员与社会公众提供上述物种现代与历史分布的宝贵数据，同时还能获取花蜜、花粉与寄主植物的关联等其他生态学细节。本次采集项目所获数据集还包含了短腹熊蜂（*Bombus affinis*，俗称锈斑熊蜂）的标本数据，该物种于2017年1月被列入美国《濒危物种名录》。本数据集的总任务量为500项，已完成转录的样本数为500，已完成校验的样本数为1。该数据资源将定期汇入核心物种出现记录索引库。
