Data for: Understanding psychological determinants to promote the adoption of general practitioner by the elderly

The empirical analysis used survey data of participants (>=60 years old) in seven cities in mainland China: Changsha, Nanjing, Wuhan, Nanchang, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou and Hefei. The population structure in these cities is in line with the average ageing of China, and there are large numbers of elderly people in these cities suffer from various chronic diseases which will need general practitioners.

本实证分析采用了中国内地7座城市（长沙、南京、武汉、南昌、广州、郑州、合肥）60岁及以上参与者的调查数据。上述城市的人口结构与中国人口老龄化的整体平均水平相符，且辖区内存在大量罹患各类慢性病的老年群体，其诊疗需求需由全科医生（General Practitioners）予以满足。
