The Peril DNA locus acts as an in vivo enhancer for distal but not proximal genes

(1) We have performed a massively parallel reporter assay (MPRA) in C2C12 cells. Additionally, we have (2) sequenced wildtype and mutant ganglionic emminence and olfactory bulb (GE/OB), and kidney from E14.5 mouse pups, as well as mESC from the mutant strain Periltm1.1Vlcg. Overall design: (1) Analysis of tag counts from RNA or DNA input control from the MPRA experiment in C2C12s. (2) Comparison between wildtype and mutant organ transcriptomes in the Periltm1.1Vlcg strain.
