SAR Images over the Baltic and North Sea

This Dataset contains SAR (amplitude) data over the regions of Fehmarn (Baltic Sea) and Cuxhaven (North Sea). the Data for Fehmarn is available over the span of the year 2020 with a temporal resolution of 6 days, whereas Cuxhaven is available between 2016 and 2023 with a temporal resolution of 6 -12 days. Each region has its own folder. Each folder contains the following three files: patches.hdf5 full_images.hdf5 full_images.hdf5 contain the SAR data over the whole corresponding region, as well as a binary coastline mask. patches.hdf5 is the processed dataset into 7x7 patches for each pixel that lies within the coastline. Along with the data, there is a small python script, which demonstrates how to read the data and also provides some additional information about the data.
