Data sets of stable isotope in precipitation and surface water in the upper reaches of Shiyang River

The upper reaches of the Shiyang River on the northern slope of the Qilian Mountains, with an altitude ranging from 1,531m to 3,553m, is located in a cold and arid area. From October 2016 to October 2020, we set up 6 sampling points (P1-P6) in this area, collected 863 precipitation samples, and 432 valid surface water samples (S1-S5). The precipitation samples are collected in time after each precipitation time, and the surface water samples are collected once a month.

祁连山北坡石羊河上游流域海拔区间为1531米至3553米，属于寒冷干旱区域。2016年10月至2020年10月期间，研究团队在该区域布设6个采样点位（P1-P6），共计采集降水样品863份、有效地表水样品432份（S1-S5）。其中，降水样品于每次降水过程结束后即时采集，地表水样品则每月采集一次。
