Transcriptome of the conifer Pinus cembra, a tree species with an extremely large genome (estimated size of 29.3 Gbp) and no published reference genome. RNA-Seq of different tissues, life stages, individuals, and treatments are used, in order to enlarge the sampled gene space as compared to using a single individual or tissue only.
