Diversity and abundance of the entomofauna of the Bosque Protector Cerro Blanco, Ecuador

Dry season A total of 4910 specimens were collected in the four areas sampled, corresponding to 97 species from three orders and 37 families. In the case of the order Coleoptera, 4664 specimens of 53 species belonging to 25 families were collected. Of the order Lepidoptera, 242 specimens were collected from 40 species classified in 9 families. From the order Odonata we collected 4 specimens of 4 species classified in 3 families). Two species of beetles were found in high abundance, Nitidulidae sp. in three zones: Caseta Jaguar, Caseta Pigio and Zona Turística; while Canthon subhyalinus was highly representative in Caseta Jaguar, Caseta Pigio and sector 507 and less abundant in Zona Turística.

旱季期间，本研究在4个采样区域共采集标本4910号，隶属于3目37科共计97个物种。其中鞘翅目（Coleoptera）标本量占比最大，共采集25科53种计4664号标本；鳞翅目（Lepidoptera）共计采集9科40种计242号标本；蜻蜓目（Odonata）仅采集3科4种计4号标本。本次调查发现两类优势甲虫类群：露尾甲科（Nitidulidae）未定种（sp.）在Caseta Jaguar、Caseta Pigio及旅游区（Zona Turística）三个区域均具有较高丰度；而亚透明蜣螂（Canthon subhyalinus）在Caseta Jaguar、Caseta Pigio与507片区的代表性较强，仅在旅游区（Zona Turística）丰度较低。
