SAGE III/ISS Cloud Data

This is the SAGE III/ISS g3b.ssp....v0510 data set which extends from mid-2017 to early 2021. The data set includes cloud information described in the JGR publication. The file contains the latitude, longitude, vertical height grid, three types of clouds (cirrus, sub-visible cirrus, and cloud aerosol mixtures) in each profile, profile temperature, h2o mixing ratio, pressure, cloud top height, and tropopause height. While SAGE cannot directly cirrus profile, cirrus is assumed to extend 0.5 km below the termination of the SAGE solar limb scan.
