This is a dataset of the Polar/UVI aurora images and segmentation annotations during isolated substorms in 1996-2000. This is also the dataset used in A Superposed Epoch Analysis of Aurora Oval Coverage During Substorms Using Deep Learning-Based Segmentation Models. The dataset contains 590 substorms, totally 51040 images.
