Digital Raster Acquisition Project Eastern Ontario (DRAPE) 2014 - 1km Index

Land Information Ontario coordinates public and private sector organizations to collect high resolution aerial imagery for Ontario through a partnership funding model. Digital Raster Acquisition Project Eastern Ontario (DRAPE) was acquired in the spring of 2014 under the best conditions possible to achieve cloud free, snow free, ice free, smoke free and leaf off captures. The orthophotography has a pixel resolution of 20 centimetres and is accurate within 50 centimetres on the ground. Time of Capture: April 28th - June 7th, 2014 Coverage: 37,290 square kilometres Canopy Coverage: Leaf-Off Resolution: 20 centimetre Bit-depth: 8-bit Number of Image bands: Four band (RGBN) Accuracy: Within 50 centimetres on the ground at 90% confidence. Format: GeoTIFF (and compressed GeoTIFF) Participants to share in the cost of acquisition with the Ontario government are being sought and can include public, private, First Nations and non-government organizations. Participants get access to their imagery products of interest as soon as they are available. Use the Geospatial Ontario Imagery Orders App to select and request uncompressed or compressed digital imagery tiles from Geospatial Ontario for transfer directly to you.
