Essays in Program Evaluation

This doctoral thesis focuses on the general topic of program evaluation. I explore two basic questions in this area: (i) the estimation and inference of average treatment effect under the unconfoundedness assumption, and (ii) the behavior of average treatment effect across different covariates. My objective is to propose new econometric methods to accommodate these features and understand the most relevant empirical problems.
