AgingResearchBiobank

The AgingResearchBiobank was officially announced in January 2019 with a mission to provide a state-of-the-art inventory system for the storage, maintenance and distribution of biospecimens and associated data from numerous NIA-funded longitudinal studies on aging and on clinical trials with the broader scientific community; foster compliance with NIH/NIA resources sharing policies; and, foster science advances to ultimately help extend the healthy, active years of life for the world’s fast-growing population of older adults. Starting on October 2023, the AgingResearchBiobank is also hosting and distributing imaging data available for some of our study collections.衰老研究生物样本库（AgingResearchBiobank）于2019年1月正式启动，其使命在于搭建一套顶尖的库存管理体系，用于存储、维护与分发多项由美国国家衰老研究所（National Institute on Aging, NIA）资助的衰老纵向研究及临床试验所产生的生物样本及相关数据，并面向广大科研群体开放共享；助力遵守美国国立卫生研究院（National Institutes of Health, NIH）与美国国家衰老研究所的资源共享政策；推动科学研究进步，最终助力延长全球快速增长的老年群体的健康预期寿命与自主生活年限。自2023年10月起，该样本库还将为部分研究项目提供并分发相关影像数据。

AgingResearchBiobank是一个由美国国家老龄化研究所（NIA）支持的生物样本库平台，于2019年正式启动，旨在存储、维护和分发来自多项衰老纵向研究和临床试验的生物样本及相关数据。该平台自2023年10月起还开始提供MRI和X射线等影像数据，并通过受控访问机制向科学界共享资源，以促进衰老研究并支持健康老龄化。
