Cytotoxicity dataset of 25 metal (hydr)oxide ENMs

A collection of 25 metal oxide and metal hydroxide engineered nanomaterials (ENMs) with different particle dimensions and shapes (spheres or rods). In total 12 descriptors are included in this dataset belonging in two categories: dimensional (nano) and composition-related (non-nano) descriptors. The toxicity data of the 25 ENMs on the murine cell line RAW 264.7 are included (lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release, TNF-α production and ROS production) in this dataset. In addition, an LDH score cut-off value of 1.5 is settled on to categorize ENMs as "cytotoxic" (LDH score above 1.5) or "non-cytotoxic/safe" (LDH score below 1.5).
