Dataset "Funding Digital Humanities" This dataset contains information about third-party funded Digital Humanities projects in Germany from 1996 to 2021. The data was collected as part of my doctoral dissertation at Bielefeld University. The corresponding book “Mapping the Digital Humanities. Feministische Perspektiven auf die Drittmittelförderung in Deutschland“ will be published by Campus Verlag mid 2026. Dataset Description The relational database captures the funding landscape of Digital Humanities in Germany over a 25-year period, including: Project metadata (titles, durations, institutions) Funding information and funding bodies Institutional relationships and collaborations Project themes and research focuses This dataset serves as an empirical foundation for analyzing the institutional and financial development of Digital Humanities as an academic field in Germany. It supports both quantitative analyses and historical research on disciplinary development.
